EVERYDAY,people ask "what is the best smartphone?" when planning to buy a phone, and if you're reading this, i guess you are also wondering what the "best smartphone" is. For starters, do not expect the task of choosing which smartphone to buy to be similar to choosing a favorite piece of candy. Surely, it’s far more tedious…especially when you don’t know which smartphone has what you’re looking for, whether it’s enough RAM for games or high resolution for pictures, name it. Enough cliché! Read on and carefully consider these tips before you pay for anything you would regret after 2 days. First and foremost, you’ll need some kind of comprehensive “list” of things a perfect phone should have. The point is to mould a phone with all the things you need, mentally. Lets face it, ladies love social networking so it's quite obvious that instant messaging apps would have a place in your phone. On the other hand, guys would love games and maybe almost prefer sharing it. Stuff like this should be your priority when you’re choosing a smartphone if you don't want to regret picking what you thought was the best "best smartphone to buy". Once again, read carefully; For social networking, you’ll do better with android devices cause it’s supports everything you need ranging from latest IM apps to top picture editors. Speaking about gaming, android smartphone-you bet! This owes its reasons to the fact that those HD games you find on consoles already have equivalent versions on the Google play store (or another market)even cooler small sized games that you can't find in consoles . You’ll find stuff like that on iOS devices but owing to Google’s easy user interface, I think you’ll enjoy an android device. An iphone would be a wonderful choice if you love taking selfies and listening to music-everyone does! It’s more an LCD within your palms owing to its magnificient camera resolution(especially in its latest device iphone 5s) Pc lovers should do better with a windows phone. It’s more like a reduced laptop within your palms. Its more fun especially now that we have the windows 8 OS on a phone. lets not leave out blackberry os, if you're looking for a phone with good camera resolution, cheap internet plan and basically handling docs(pdf and all) then a blackberry smartphone is your best bet! You’ve just gotten to know the world`s hottest operating systems in the mobile phone universe. Surely you`re going to make a wonderful choice when you`re ready to get to the "best smartphone in the market." Now, you don’t have to rush over carefully and make a good choice. There’s no doubt that smart phones are the latest trend of mobile devices and with the increase in production and wide variety use latest technology gadgets, choosing a suitable and the “best” one can be a difficult task.

Don’t worry any longer! I have done a little research and compiled a list of the top 5 smart phones available for you. In my opinion, I bet you’re gonna include one of these devices in your wishes list after going through this collection. So, no more stalling; let’s start, shall we?

5.     Nokia Lumia 1020
Nokia may have dropped the bomb once more with its stunning 41 MP windows 8 mobile device. The new nokia Lumia 1020 is 130.4mm tall, 10.4mm thick, weighs 158 grams and is about 71.4mm wide. It comes in white & yellow and black.

Needless to say, users are a bit disappointed with it’s build’s quality considering its price, which is a bit higher than its competitors. All in All, the S4 isn’t that useless as it turns on Android Jelly bean 4.2.2 OS which can be updated to 4.3. it weigh 130g with a height of 136.6mm & width of 69.8mm it also has a 2GB RAM and a QUALCOMM snapdragon 600 processors and lets more. Not bad! Costs about €500.

3.     Third on the list is HTC ONE
         Without doubt, HTC One ranks high among the top smart phones in the market which its 1.7 GHz quad-core QUALCOMM Snapdragon 600, 1080 resolution and a 32GB RAM! Its Aluminum chassis, HD display and its ultra pixel – 4MP among other features, keeps HTC fans loyal and satisfied. This is indeed a latest tech gadget, weighing about, with a dimension of 137.4x68.2x9.3mm, this device runs Android 4.1.2 OS.     
2.     Google Nexus 5
After an intense battle, Google’s Nexus 5 ranks 2nd only to Apple’s  iPhone 5S, among the top 5 latest tech Smart phones – Although there’s still dispute over this with some arguing otherwise (that this latest tech gadget beats the iphone 5S). It is preceded by Nexus 4. This cutting-edge tech device is outrageously cheap considering its features which include a full HD display 4.95” 1920x1080, 2.26 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, 2GB RAM, An 8MP rear cam & a 1.3MP front camera among many more!
It’s the first phone with Android 4.4 kitkat OS it costs about $ 399.

1.           iPhone 5S
This list isn’t complete without this smart phone in it and it dominates others to rank first among the top 5 latest tech smart phones, including its predecessors – Iphone 5. This device weighs 112g, is 58.6mm wide, 123.8 tall, and Running the new iOS 7.0.4, with a 1.3 GHz dual core processor, thrills apple lovers combined with the new finger print and facial recognition features along with an 8MP camera & a 1.2 MP front facing cam.
Without any doubt, Apple’s iPhone 5S wins this “battle of the smart phones”.
Hold on! I didn’t say the iPhone 5S is perfect, its just…you know, on top of the list :D

HTC has begun the global release of Android 4.3 for the HTC One.
US network AT&T announced that HTC would be releasing the update in the next few days.Some UK networks are also expected to announce details in the next week.
The current update fixes a number of bugs and introduces new, minor features like Bluetooth low energy, OpenGL and 4K resolution support.

Sense 5 is also being updated, with changes to the launch bar, BlinkFeed and the ability to display a numeric battery percentage in the notifications bar.
HTC began rolling out Android 4.3 to HTC One owners about two weeks ago in Taiwan. US network Sprint and Canadian carriers are also in the process of updating their customers’ phones.
Last week, the HTC One won three awards at the T3 Gadget of the Year awards, including best design, best phone and best gadget. .
